    Its difficult to say how much I spent last year because my car is so thirsty lol, and we didnt exactly hang around on the way there or back.

    This year will be a much more relaxed affair, but I will try and estimate.

    Ferry = £60
    Hotel = £30 per person per night (based on 2 sharing)
    Petrol = approx 5-6 tanks
    Food and drink = as much as you spend lol
    Laps = approx £12-14 per lap of the ring, cheaper if you buy in bulk.

    I hope that sheds some light...

    Probably not now Lisa, as I can really only afford to do this trip once in the year

    Taken from another forum that might be of interest to Nurburg tourers...

    New, special regulations for the Nurburgring Nordschleife for next year during TouristenFahen.

    - All German cars, (which must by law TÜV approved) will be allowed, provided that they can produce TÜV certificates/papers for any modifications on the car on demand
    - Non German cars which are standard will be allowed(*)
    - Non German cars which are modified will be allowed provided they can produce TÜV certificates/papers for all modifications on demand.

    The reason for this is to combat the growing number of race cars which have been using TouristenFahren for cheap practice with a set of foreign plates on, and similarly cars with questionable modifications.
