Sky Insurance are also traders on HJC, with discounts available to PAID MEMBERS Just see the traders section.

If you use moneysupermarket or the like always see if the cheapest is listed on Quidco (or another cashback site) for further disccounts. Also search for discount voucher codes for that company too through someone like ukhotdeals.co.uk

    Default Insurers for jap imports

Let me know if you want a list that's been suggested to me by Newera Imports. I've just used AON who put me in contact with a mob called Footman James and they've cut the premium offered by A Plan and Adrian Flux by a massive 50%!! Use gocompare.com as well. You'll be pleasantly surprised just how many companies are prepared to take on a jap import.

Also worth checking out Richard Egger Insurance as their policies include 4 days of trackday cover....

I agree there A plan have been the cheapest everytime. Don't get me started on Direct Line, my van insurance with them has been a very expensive joke with me the butt of the joke, avoid at all costs not that they would be interested in anything complicated like modified Jap cars as they can't sort out a bog standard Transit van!

Direct line wouldnt insure me with ANY modifications! Really expensive too. I used Sky and saved a hell of a lot more than I spent on my HJC membership

yes, we run a grey import/modified car scheme through Chaucer. Huge UK based insurer with a fantastic claims handling procedure.

If you are getting quotes from them directly, it is well worth trying my company
