Default Cylinder temp seems to hot.

My plugs have always been a nice tan colour with a black base ring, so I assume running slightly rich.
I had the injectors cleaned about 6 months ago and I noticed the idle raised slightly but didn't think anything of it.
On removing the plus last weekend there now white rather than tanned, base ring still black. (I'm now assuming there overheating)
I installed a AEM wideband and on cruise about 14.7 but obviously fluctuates either side. Changed NGK plugs from heat range 7 to 8.
So A/F ratio seems ok. New turbos were fitted just over a year ago and boost went up from.7bar to 1bar. Could either of these things cause the cylinder temp to rise?

    Hey Mike
Higher boost will normally have a slight increase in running temps. But I'm wondering if you have your plugs gapped correctly. Did you check them before fitting?

Hi Dave, I hope your well? I gapped them at .8mm 32thou, ignition timing 20deg btdc. afr on boost is about 11.5ish.
What about an air leak, could that increase engine temp?

    Not bad buddy - you?
So plugs are ok. A leak shouldn't. But I'm wondering about which stat you're running and when it was changed last?

They are cheap so if you get stuck for ideas I'd say it's worth doing. Could be a handful of other things though. Timing, fuel pressure maybe, also thinking dodgy gauge
