    For now - yes Al

She urgently needs lowered and a change of wheels.

    Here's 2 of the 3

Fitted these bad boys to the Stagea yesterday

Had a mare with these - all main tools at home. Measured everything to run the 17's but allowing for 18's and set to work fitting. Little did I realise one of the top hat rubbers was missing. Rolled off the drive to a massive clonk. Edged back and spent the next 10 mins tightening everything, set off again (same result obviously). Then stripped it out - swore ALOT, and decided on how to bodge it in for a weeks commuting with rubbers from the old suspension.

And yes - note to self. The springs on the stock ones give a real kick when releasing without a couple of spring clamps in place
Thank god to gaffer tape and cable ties (kids DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME).

Surely the is the only way to do it? Now, you know what I am going to say don't you? This thread is useless without fitted pictures! LOL

Very true - haven't gone low yet, but this is still 60mm lower at the front and 50mm at the back.

When wheels are sorted/decided and ready to fit, it'll get tweaked

That looks much better. That is a fair old drop already.

Will look better still when she's settled/bedded down. And more so with a wheel swap.

For better or for worse yesterday...

**** end to a **** day. Started having a light suspension knock on the way home last night. Got worse the last mile from home but couldn't see anything obvious - no extra roll, no movement in the steering/arms etc
Got home - jacked the front and spotted the issue - the passenger side strut seal has obviously gone and has ****ed down the strut

So much for these highly rated BC's, thy have about 1/8 of the miles than the stock suspension

So at 05:20 this morning I got up and did a front end swap over to stock. I did wonder how many complaints I might have got working on the Stagea on drive this early in the day. Although it wasn't my drive (in laws) so was a reasonable drive away from anyone I'm bothered about

Because project car is also my daily

Was all done and dusted both side by 7.
