    Default Any one feeling genorous

Hi all I will try and keep this short.
this year myself my father and father in law are all riding 225miles from France to hayling on our push bikes to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. Having lost a family member last year and seeing the hard work these guys do 1st hand we'd like to give a little back. We would be extremely grateful for any donations.

Any donations can be done online here

    Many thanks

No worries Jay - best of luck.

Good stuff - don't forget to give us a kit list - have always wondered how much you'd limit yourself too (not that I have the energy to try such a feat).

Yeah really good thanks . On all the events I ride with my dad, farther inlaw and mates.I tend to ride abit faster then them average speed so I thought This time I'd stay with them.but after 15miles I was really struggling staying at a slower pace keeping walm and getting in any rhythm. so I decided to stayed with them till half way 35miles and wished them well and hammered the last 35miles.

In the end I finished an hour before them and completed the ride in 4hrs 43min (total ride time 4hrs 30) very happy with it.didnt relise they award the times with medals I got a silver and the others got bronze but I was 10mins off of getting a gold which I would have made up easily in the first 35miles :-) I'll no for the next one.

Next ride is up and down the south downs a number of times in May its 4073ft climb over 60miles looking forward to that.will stick some pics up when they post them.

Training has come to a halt atm I had my son on a seat on the cross bar was riding along happily until he put his foot through the front wheel sending use both over the bars was just over a week ago we are both fine just cuts and bruises.in doing this my carbon forks on one leg have snapped.
they were very hard to find when I built the bike ( they are a certain shape giving the geometry of the bike) and can't find any for sale any where in the uk or over seas.my next event is in 16 days so ive come to the conclusion it with be easyer to buy a new frame and fork. I've asked to borrow my brother bike to do some training next week.
