Ever thought of doing a airfield track day? Done one back in April got another one booked for June at the same place, great fun open pit lane & it gives you time to get use to the car hopefully then I can go to brands or Silverstone in the coming months with a bit more experience.just my to pence worth lol!

No I haven't, I hadn't heard of an airfield track day before! Sounds good though, probably much better than throwing myself into the deep end haha thanks

Turns out the short Silverstone circuit is all good, if a bit punishing on the brakes!!

TRAX & Silverstone on track organisation is all good, silly cheap 20 min sessions... Had you been considering it, and didn't try it - you missed out

After being a passenger in Will's car (thanks again, very impressed by how hard it pulled) I think I might venture out on track in mine next year. Always avoided these show track days after having a very near miss with an idiot who lost it while trying to overtake where he shouldn't have a fair few years ago but was extremely impressed by how well managed this was and how considered all the other drivers seemed to be. There was some extremely well sorted toys out on the experienced sessions.

Echo the above - was good fun. But doesn't stop people being idiots or worse - thinking they are better than they are.
