Do it. Just remember if it is your daily driver start slow and work up. The EP3, even completely standard, is a lot of fun on a track and really the only place you can explore what one can do. What they lack in power they more than make up for in handling although it does get a bit frustrating when things pull away on the straight only to hold you up in the corners.

As said, I wouldn't be concerned about not having been on track much or at all previously, post safety briefing you'll have a good understanding of the format... And you drive only to the degree that you are comfortable with, like you would do normally on the road.

Keeping an eye on others approaching, those you may pass and before you know it the session will be over, you'll be back in and out of the car buzzing and mentally booking a proper track day there and then!

Have a go, it's the best place (on track in general) to explore your car to a far greater extent then on the road.

It sounds like great fun! I love how the EP3 handles on the road so would be nice to see what its really like on a track!

The post safety briefing sounds good to me haha although I have someone who has a bit of experience on track who said they would be passenger to help me out

Is the session timed? Or done on laps?

It will be timed, not long but enough to enjoy and easy going on the car.

Still plenty of sessions available across all levels of experience from novice upwards by the looks of it, just checked the ticketing site.

    Okay that's cool
and great! Thanks. I'd definitely be in a novice session haha
I have a track day experience the Thursday before trax so have a feeling I will love that and if I haven't booked a session to have a go in my own car I will regret it
Do you know if there is anywhere I could find the rules and things that my car has to meet such as sound levels?

There is a link to all the rules & regs on their website, follow this link:

    http://www.traxshows.co.uk/public-track-time

Interestingly nothing there regarding noise limit, though Silverstone track events outside of the Trax Show appear to be 102db drive-by, reasonably loud enough to accommodate most.
