Default Dial in Day Santa Pod March 7th

Drag racing at Santa pod Dial in day. The best time I got on the day was 14 seconds dead on until car gave up with a broken diff.

Here is a lot of pictures that were taken on the day

So other than the diff - did you enjoy it?

Any mods on the day? (dropping tyre pressure etc)

Awesome pics. Think I am heading to Santa Pod in early July and the drag strip looks fun. How does it work there, do you get put against cars with a similar bhp?

Not normally - merely a "who's next in the queue". Though the staff that run it have always been good with "mind if I line up with my mate 3 cars back" (when time allows obviously).

Hi Panther yes really enjoyed it, the only mod was shift light changer, but really just used the sound of the engine because it happens so quick. I had my tyres 34 back 32 front. Nobody can seem to tell me the tyre pressures so I never really know what is best for normal driving and track, strip days etc.

I will put the videos on here when I have time to do it and it shows when my car went Klonk, bang bang etc when I was turning after the race. Ive just got my Bee R that has just arrived in the post. Any ideas who to get to install it!! I was thinking a mobile electrician to come to the house but I want it done properly! any info would be good cheers Hatch.

Oooow I get to guess - I'm saying somewhere around the 320 mark (+/- 10bhp) based on terminal speeds.

Yeah i would agree dave, i was thinking about the 310ish

as for tyre pressures, right or wrong the last time I went i let my rears down to around 15psi, although this did kill my gearbox and destroy my clutch
