    Default Fatality at the Ring

According to the facebook link or "like page" there was a death at the ring
this is what was said on the page.

"Shocking news from Nordschleife, police is reporting a fatal accident this Sunday morning. Apparently a UK registered car (Clio?) crashed at Wippermann and one passenger has been thrown out of the car and died. Only last Sunday a motorcycle driver had a fatal crash at Tourist drives. Two deaths a year a way too much, let alone 2 a week"

Really sad, just goes to show how dangerous it can be, thoughts are with the family's concerned

I read this too and it's very tragic, my thoughts go out to the families of both the biker and the passenger from the Clio that sadly lost their lives. Motor sport is dangerous, it always has been, just because you are on a track doesn't mean that you can't injure yourself or worse in this instance.

    RIP

I went last year, its so easy to assume your ready and your car will take it. My celica didnt and i couldnt believe how unprepared i was. My friend even crashed. lucker;y it was just dented pride but none the less, it is dangerous. The scary thing is, they dont even ask if you had track experience, there is no brief or talk, its just a sign with does and donts. They dont even ask for documents. (they didnt when we went). tragic.
