Hello all,

So we have had mass HJC news updates before, often by way of a PM, well this is an expansion of that idea. You will still receive the PM, but with link to a thread (here) so an open area in which you can post comment, critique, ideas etc.

Also if you have some news worthy interest yourself and wish to submit a piece to feature – you are very welcome to do so.

This will need to be PM’d to me for inclusion in the next news letter.

We will welcome anything you wish to shout about, be that a monster charity event you are undertaking and needing a push for sponsorship, births, marriages!! You name it, you think of it and we will do our best to write a bit about it.

And this, the first of the new format, is our HJC news letter no.1

Thank you.

Hello one and all, welcome to the latest roundup of all things HJC.

What has been happening since we last spoke? Well all things HJC have been far from standing still.

Back in June we attended a rolling road day at the excellently equipped Eurospec 2000 in Guildford. This proved very popular with all 20 places filling very quickly and well supported by others in attendance. Results from the day were wide and varied, (Ed Greer) Ed’s Civic Coupe pulled a very respectable 133.2bhp and (krambry) Mark’s R34 pulling a monster 500+ bhp. So there where some surprises and perhaps some disappointments on the day, but that's the way it goes with car tuning!

Next up saw a well attended gathering at the Longbridge Mill in Hook and the Elvetham Heath Car Show in July.

For August many of you attended the Modified Madness event at Thorney Island, where some put in impressive quarter mile times such as (Bassill) Russ in his P1 got in the low 12’s and (PJ) Paul’s luxo-barge in the 13’s and (Al’s on 19s) Alex even ran his R6 up the strip. Whilst (lifestyler) Clive and others impressed over on the drift circuit.

And then it was our big one!! August’s HJC Car Show at the West Meon Hut.. Wow!!! Thank you to you all who made this such a success. Attended by some 140 plus cars and many more people, supported by our friends at JD Modified, Definitive Auto Care, MitsiArt, Skewer Graphics, Opie Oils, JDM Performance. Plenty of great cars in attendance and some very deserving prize winners – as voted for by you on the day.

Other news.
Well over on the projects side we have seen some notable updates recently, starting with (mr insane) Cole scores a worthy sponsorship deal with Ultralite Rims which helps the demands on the wallet with all those drifting commitments, such as being part of the Drift Taxi crew. Expect to see Mr & Mrs Insane’s matching camo R33’s on some sweet rims soon.

(Kai Vaksdal) Kai's Toyota Levin gets ever closer to turning into that full-blown race car with the addition of some tasty graphic work from Skewer Graphics and makes a double page spread in Banzai magazine.

Well done to both.

Finally can you help HJC behind the scenes?
