Following last years success and due to popular demand I am honoured to be able to announce;

Last year we had 60+ cars at our first ever official car show, and this year we hope to smash that record.

Taking over all the fields at West Meon Hut we will be hosting a variety of car related competitions, show and shine, trader stands, live music, BBQ and outside bar! Think BIG!

Date: 1st August 2010

Time: Gates open at 11am, aiming for a midday official start!
Competition voting will be at 2pm, prizes and awards 3pm(ish)!

(Breakfast is served at 9am should anyone want to get an early start!)

Cost: £2 per car (to be paid at the gates)

Competitions:


The competition categories are:

• Best car of the show (Up until 1994 cars)
• Best car of the show (Post 1994 cars)
• Best “JDM” styled car of show
• Best mod (or most creative “fix”!)

Prize winners will be decided by a voting system which will be established on the day.

Notice the use of the word "Best" in the categories? This is entirely open to interpretation. It's the voters choice if this means cleanest, most powerful, most desirable, etc! Should make for some good results!

As well as custom HJC “piston” trophy’s (could change this year!) we have the following up for grabs

Other amazingness:
West Meon Hut will be putting on a BBQ or hog roast for us as well as our own outside bar!! woo!
There will be a band stand area, with live music from local bands and DJs. Full details on this coming soon

We are expecting attendance by at least one Jap performance magazine and local papers – so if you are looking to have you car featured it’s a great way to get some exposure!

Due to the popularity we need to keep track of numbers. You will only be given access to the show if you add your name to the list on this thread.
Other clubs and non-members are welcome, but we ask that you must sign up and add your name to the list or we reserve the right to refuse entry!
