DJ Marco Polo can now supply a set of turntables for vinyl, so if you DJ CD's then you will need to bring your own CD players.

He also has a few mates wanting to play too so it should be a cracking line up.

Hi all, I will be bringing a pair of TTX turntables with concord carts so you cannot get any better than those, I only play vinyl so thats all I am bringing, I have a small gemini fx7000 6 channel mixer I bring out for gigging so that will be the set up.

The people supplying the sounds I will need either phono outs or my mixer has 2 balanced outputs to connect to the amp so please make sure they have the cables for those to run into

I guess you need a mic for announcing prizes etc so I will try to remember my cheapy cordless mics for the event.

If you ever do one at night let me know because I used to hire out lasers and have about 5 left in my cupboard that get dusted off now and again

So its just line up time.

I have a friend called Garvin who will come along and fill up some time and loves doing warm ups etc so I just need to know who is playing, what style and what previous you have then we can sort out a list of times, its not much point banging out drum n bass and following with minimal house as they dont go together.

The big thing to remember at events like these are that there will be families and a lot of people that are not really into your style of music so keep it as uplifting as possible. and sweary tunes are pretty much banned

Garvin plays either drum n bass or just classic anthems

I play remixed anthems in a dave pearce style

Hi!

At the mo it will be you guys and a friend of mine, Chris who will be playing uplifting drum and bass. He potentially has another guy who will come and have a spin along with him, although the problem is he wont confirm until saturday - not an issue as we can just put him and Chris together as they play the same sort of stuff. I will get SkylineGTR to speak to our equipment bloke and make sure he can accomodate you gear

As you say Keith there will be families and kids there so strictly no explicit lyrics please.

I will check that the required cables will be there on Sunday.

OK I will get garvin to do the warm up with loads of classic dance anthems from 11am
Hoody who said he wants to play can do 12-1.15pm with his D&B

I can do 1.15 - 2.30 ill be playing Dance anthems Remixed

Then alfies mate chris can follow from 2.30 and just finish from the prize giving at 3pm until 4

then it breaks the whole day up and is not just a big block of stonking drum n bass all day

I will be there most of the day but do have to get going by about 4pm so unless ya bring cdjs thats when the turntables will be going
