well after the em2 failed it MOT i am starting to give up on her as the chassis reads a mere 100,700miles and in the past 3yrs of owning her shes had a head gasket go, a whole new engine due to hydro locking the 1st, blown suspension etc etc... im think maybe to sell her at the the end of the year and venture out for a skyline of evo still undecided tho....

car failed it mot on
1) sticker obstruction on windscreen by 40mm in zone A
2)headlamp aim to high
3)n/s/f suspension arm ball joint has excessive play
4)n/s/r shock absorber blown - £134 for replacement coilover damper
5)o/s/r shock absorber blown - £134 for replacement coilover damper
6)front seatbelts both frayed
7)both front shock absorbers slight worn shock absorber play

both outer rear arb ball joints have excessive play
9)both inner arb rubber bushes deteriorated resulting in excessive movement

the suspension is covered by a warrenty but had to pay for new dampers until they arrive then i have to send the old back and they will reburse me the money just gotta get everything else sorted too.... then once complete and mot passes it will be time to sell i thinks....

here is a nice usdm spec ep3 that looks sexy as fcuk

it looks like a lot of things gone wrong but most of them arn't too expensive if you do it yourself, apart from front dampeners. why do some mechanics call the dampeners shock absorbers, its the springs which absorb the shock and the dampeners dampen the oscillations, it bugs me just a tad.
